With the end of June approaching things are heating up in the garden. Its been solarized for 2 weeks now and the soil temperature just under the plastic came in at a cool 140 degrees. The compost was even hotter at 145 degrees. A hot compost means faster decomposition as the little microbes are loving life! Seed starting for the fall tomatoes is just days away!!
