Breaking Pumpking Patch News!!!

If you've been following my blog recently, you know that I've been pretty excited with the progress of my first ever pumpkin patch. And you've also read about the male flowers that started appearing a couple weeks ago. Since then I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the female flowers which actually produce the pumpkin.

I am very pleased to announce tonight that the ladies have finally started to arrive. The picture above shows a small baby pumpkin starting to appear. What will bloom into a flower is seen coming out of the top of the pumpkin.
