One of the best gifts I received this past Christmas was software that allows me to customize radar images from the National Weather Service. For those of you that know me well, you know that I love weather and follow it daily. So, needless to say, this gift was right up my alley. It has way too many features to list here, but I can customize just about anything on it, put airport runways on the display, zoom and animate til my hearts content. I can also go to any weather service radar in the country and choose from 4 different radar tilts to get a complete picture of the rain or snow. Today I just learned how to download a new background and import it to my images. You can see my new topographical images on the attached images.

Enjoy a couple of screenshots from my new weather radar viewing software. The images show Pennsylvania, Iowa and Florida activity from this evening. Iowa was the only radar showing precipitation.
