Last night was a pretty fun night at the airport. Our fire crews had to do some fire training. They are required to do this on a regular basis by the FAA. The training done last night involved setting a big puddle of gas on fire and having the firefighters put it out by using a joystick inside the trucks. Each truck has 1 driver and 1 firefighter. You can see how this works in the pictures attached.
I was lucky enough last night to ride along inside the trucks as they drove up to the big ball of flames and hosed it down!
