The garden harvest has officially begun this week with some red romaine lettuce being picked for some scrumptious salads and 4 brandywine tomatoes picked before the upcoming chill down coming the beginning of next week. I've learned one lesson about tomatoes, while none of them like frost some of them don't like any type of "chilly". The brandywine is one of those I prefer to be toasty warm plants. So, we'll be keeping him for spring tomato growing. With a low of 41 and highs of 65 predicted, the brandywine will surely end its season short this year.
