As many of you have either experienced or read in the news, Florida had its annual big chill the other night. Not as big as some years but certainly one of the coldest nights I've recorded in the last 5 years. I had nothing to worry about during this cold snap, the garden is empty and I found myself cheering for the thermometer to keep dropping. Fortunately for the strawberry and citrus growers it stopped before doing major damage. I have greatly enjoyed the cool weather and where else can you wake up from a hard freeze and cut the grass an
hour later!!
