I've been putting coffee grounds, filter to, in my compost bin ever since I started composting. Its one of the many things you can compost from your kitchen. Grounds are a good source of nitrogen and also add a little acidity (hint...good for the acid lovers going into the expansion plot).In doing a little composting research the other night, I discovered that Starbucks gives away their coffee grounds for free!! So when Julie went knitting with the girls at our Starbucks around the corner last week, I asked her to check into those grounds. Sure enough, she came back with 2 nice bags of coffee grounds!!
