Dining Out?....Read this first!

Every now and then one of our local news stations airs a story called dirty dining. They dig up recent inspection reports on local restaurants and then tells you about the ones that have lots and lots of violations like food being thawed with raw meat and my personal favorite, slime in the ice machine.

They provided the link for the state of Florida's office that conducts these inspections. I looked up a few of our favorite places to eat and have found a few that we won't be going back to. For instance, Crabby Bills on St. Pete beach had 32 critical violations on their last inspection. They had my favorite, slime in the ice machine. Sweet tea please, hold the ice!!!! On the other end of the spectrum I found our favorite Italian place, Maggianos, had 0, zippo, nada, none....violations! And for those of you who like Sam Seltzers, they had their share of nasty things going on in the kitchen to!!

So, next time you dine out in Florida, check this link first:
