I grew up a Star Wars fan in the 70's and 80's collecting all the cool new star wars toys each Christmas. Many of these toys still in my parents basement today.
Today, we are raising the next generation of a Star Wars fan. Olivia has the "gene" and on Saturday after a trip to the bookstore and picking out a Star Wars book from the kids section, she immediately wanted to watch Star Wars when she got home. I was more that happy to watch it with her and we ended up seeing episodes 4 and 5 over the next day and a half.
The one thing I can't seem to figure out about Olivia is how her favorite characters can be "Oda" (her word for Yoda), Princess Leia and Darth Vader. Seems like its a case of which one doesn't belong. Either way, we'll be raiding the Star Wars toy box on our next trip to PA!!
