The garden is in a state of transition right now, pumpkin vines slowly dying off and cucumbers looking lifeless. Three pumpkins are left on the vine and I don't imagine there will be many, if any, more to come. Our cucumber harvest turned out to be very good despite the record heat and a relatively short row. We ended up with 26 cucumbers of all shapes and sizes.
As the early crops fade away, beets, lettuce and radish begin to sprout. Its November now and that means Nasturtiums, edible flowers, can now be planted. Hopefully this month will bring us cool weather for our cool weather loving veggies!
