Yankee Pumpkin.....A Baby Album

It doesn't seem like that long ago since our first little baby pumpkin came to life. I have heard it said that northerners who moved into Florida are called "damn yankees" by the natives. Since I grew a New England heirloom pumpkin, I guess you could call that a "yankee pumpkin"?

It was an experiment in growing something that I had not grown before and wasn't even sure how well it would do down here in the deep deep south. I am happy to say that it was successful and would probably have turned out even better without the unusual October hot spells.
