Its getting a little hot in the garden these days. Our beets have all but withered and retreated back into the dirt and the final head of cabbage is just about ready to be picked. A late crop of strawberries is coming along nicely and I've had enough for a nice, homemade yogurt parfait for my lunch this week. Blueberries are slowly turning blue and we've harvested a few here and there.
Our heat loving tomatoes and peppers are seeing some good growth and the first two peppers on the vine are turning out to be "baby" bell peppers. The two experimental crops, buckwheat and cotton are also doing very well.
