Fall has always been our favorite time of year, not only because its the season of our birthdays, but it finally means a light at the end of the tunnel from those long hot steamy Florida days. The nights begin to cool off a bit and the mornings are just plain delightful, even though the afternoon is still pretty warm. Waking up to a refreshing 63 degrees this morning was a nice change and meant it was finally time to open up the patio door.
In the garden, our two different varieties of heirloom tomatoes are also taking notice to the nicer weather as they have been growing quickly since being transplanted into the dirt. The cotton is still growing and producing abundant bolls filled with tan colored fibers. I'm not really sure when those 2 plants will stop growing.
Enjoy some pictures of our Reisentraube and and Pruden's Purple tomatoes......
