Sprouted - In Record Time!

This past Friday, the 21st, I planted a row of cucumber seeds and another hill of pumpkin seeds. Typically it can take up to a week for the seeds to germinate and pop out of the ground.

Yesterday afternoon, the 23rd, I went out to the garden a saw a few of my cucumber seeds popping out of the ground.

The seeds are planted within a thick layer of compost and with more than an inch of rain the last 2 days, we've had an extremely fast germination time!!
